New Year, New You!
Looking to start running, but don’t know where to begin? Manchester Frontrunners are here to help…
Starting from the 6th February, we will be launching our couch to 5K series, running over 7 weeks, and finishing with running the Longford Park park run in the latter part of April. The course will start with a walk / jog programme, and builds up to 3 mile runs. The course is ideal for those looking getting into running, but also those looking to return from injury. You’ll run with us each Saturday at Chorlton water park, and then do 2 further runs each week in your own time. There is a free app to help you along the way.
Michael Goldie, together with other members of the club will be running the course. If you are interested, or if any of our members have friends or family who are intererested, do let them know, and let one of the committee know so we can ascertain potential numbers. e.mail email@example.com for more information.
Ideally, we are looking for people who would then join MFR at the end as well, and building our longer term membership of the club, and as part of our role in the LGBT community.
