Cake race, Party time and the AGM.

The next 3 weeks are some of the most busy in the Manchester Frontrunners calendar. We’ve got London Marathon this weekend, but importantly, we have have our own 10 kilometre cake race on the 29th April, the best race in the calendar. Our race is a friendly and inclusive race, bringing together many local runners, but also raising funds for the club and the George House trust as our chosen charity. And of course, the evening brings our birthday party, hosted this year at New York New York.  If you want to come along, please pop £10 into the club account – I’m sure it’ll be quiet as always 🙂

And then onto the Annual general meeting. This is your chance to elect your new committee, find out about the last 12 months, and have your say about the next 12 months. We will meet from 9pm until just after 10pm on Thursday 4th May at Via in the downstairs area. We will provide the food, so just turn up to have your say in the club.

Any paid up member can nominate themselves for one of the 8 positions, and is always positive to have fresh faces making the committee make up, with fresh ideas. Email secretary@manchesterfrontrunners to put in your nomination. And don’t forget the prize giving. The prizes are awarded through your nominations, so please put your names forward.

Enjoy your running over the next few weeks, and we look forward to seeing you over the next 3 weeks.
