This weekend saw the 13th celebration and coming together of our friends in the Trans community in Manchester. MFR visited the LGBT foundation and the health stall at Sackville gardens to talk to visitors about the benefits of running, both for physical and mental well being. Weekend success for MFR

Lots of racing last week and into the weekend, and some great successes. In Snowdonia, Lucy took part in her first ever marathon, and finished 3rd lady. Jane also competed in the half marathon. Closer to home, the tour of Tameside saw many of the club racing across the 4 days, with Orla completing 3 of the 4 days. Congratulations. Cake race, Party time and the AGM.

The next 3 weeks are some of the most busy in the Manchester Frontrunners calendar. We’ve got London Marathon this weekend, but importantly, we have have our own 10 kilometre cake race on the 29th April, the best race in the calendar. Heaton Park cross country and Stockport 10 miler

This weekend saw 2 of our favourite races, and almost the last races of 2016. Saturday was the 3rd cross country of the season hosted at Heaton Park, a lovely bright day, and little mud! 10 ladies raced, with Lucy, Jane, Selena and Rachel making up the Ladies A team and placed them in 12th out of 39 teams.
