MFR 2017 social calendar
At Manchester Frontrunners we like to run, but we also also like having a get together afterwards to reward ourselves for our sterling efforts!
We have two regular post training socials every week as detailed below:
After every Thursday night run we go for food and also a drink or two! We welcome everybody to join us, so even if you were not able to join our run we would still love to see you for food and a chat. We do go to The Deaf Institute who have prepared a very nice offer for us with 20% off food and happy hour drink prices. They also have daily specials too!
After every Saturday morning run we go to The Lead Station on Beech Road, Chorlton.
We also have socials after monthly club races. These club races are either around Manchester or further afield and we promote and encourage as many members as possible to enter. A nearby social follows each of these, and recent examples include Sunday lunch at Gorilla, a weekend away in Glasgow, and a trip to Newcastle Pride! We also have ‘non-running socials’ such as comedy nights and bowling, and we always welcome new ideas!
The club celebrates its birthday every May Day bank holiday weekend, fully participates in Manchester Pride, and has an annual European holiday. There’s always something going on at Manchester Frontrunners!
