Manchester Frontrunners is a club that welcomes the female runner regardless of ability or experience. We currently have about 35 women runners – a third of our membership.
Some of us come to develop our speed and participate in club races and individual race events, but many simply come to participate in the weekly runs and social events.
We occasionally have women-only socials to help the girls of the group get to know each other better.
Our women participate successfully at the Manchester Area Cross Country League and last year we had our most successful season ever and fielded two teams and received a league promotion. Cross Country races are great fun (as long as you don’t mind getting muddy!) and each participant can only contribute to the overall team performance, no matter what your pace.
So, whatever your own personal motivation and goals as a female runner are, we hope you will come and join us to explore how you can develop as a runner. If you have any questions about MFR and its lovely ladies, please contact our Female Co-Chair Rachel via firstname.lastname@example.org
