Manchester Frontrunners is a club that welcomes the female runner regardless of ability or experience. We currently have about 30 women runners – a quarter of our membership.
Some of us come to develop our speed and participate in club races and individual race events, but many simply come to participate in the weekly runs and social events.
We have a women only run once a month, more details can be found here.
Our women participate successfully at the Manchester Area Cross Country League and this year we had our most successful season ever and fielded two teams.
Eleven of our ladies participated in our own Cake Race 10k in 2016, where they achieved personal bests and one of our members was 3rd female. Have a look at the pictures here.
So, whatever your own personal motivation and goals as a female runner are, we hope you will come and join us to explore how you can develop as a runner. If you have any questions about MFR and its lovely ladies, please contact our Female Co-Chair Rachel via firstname.lastname@example.org
